Ice Station Cool Rehab

I just read on another site that the Ice Station Cool at Epcot will be undergoing a six month rehab starting on May 31st. They are saying that the entrance will be redone to make it more like innovations and the ice and snow will be removed. Has anyone else heard about this?

oh, man, I always look forward to that when we are there on a hot day. I'll really miss it this August.

Don't they know all they need to do is mop all the stickey soda off the floor! It doesn't need a rehab.

Hopefully it's a true rehab and will be back.

Last year was the first time I ever stopped by the Ice Station. I guess I was hot. Wasn't really impressed. The kids loved it.

Yeah, a mop should do it.

It would surprise me for them to close this attraction during the hot summer months, I can see the rehab and with almost nothing else under rehab they may figure it as a Ideal Time for staffing reasons. However I would think it would be better to preform the rehab come Sept, when its cooler out less people are around. (sept, oct, nov, dec, jan, feb are slower then the peak summer months, and much cooler)

Ijust read on allears.net, that as of June 6th, it is closed down! There are signs all around it stating the closure! What a shame, as my family and I were really looking forward to going in there!

I actually get along very well with my in-laws. There is no way I would go to WDW for a week with them if I didn't. I just think it's funny watching people try Beverly for the first time.
