Peter Pan will be coming to broadway next year and the same women (Julie Tamor) who directed the successful hit the Lion King will be directing Peter Pan.

The only confirmed actor that signed on (believe it or not) is none other than Michael Eisner. As far as Peter Pan goes they will definitely go with a man and not a women as traditionally has been done in theater. Even though this play has been done before, this is definitely going to be something that no one has ever seen before Tamor states. Just as the Lion King has done, Petr Pan will do the same, but on a much more elaborate scale. Tamor is famous for her style with puppets and advant garde theater.

In an interview in Broadway Bound, Eisner says that his first love is and always will be theater and he said he has signed on for 6 months and will see how it goes from there.

He also said in the interveiw that he loves the character of Captain Hook, he said he reminds me of myself in some of the heated Board Room Meetings, so it's really not too far of a stretch.

If you own Disney Stock this information will also be sent to you because during this time Disney will be run by someone else, who Eisner cannot name at this time. Eisner also said let me make this clear, I have no intention of giving up the Throne at Disney, but I also have to follow my dreams.
