Disney to be bookable on Travelocity site(2/11/2002)
FORT WORTH, Texas -- Consumers will be able book Walt Disney Parks and Resorts theme park tickets and on-site hotels as part of air-inclusive Travelocity Vacations packages resulting from an enhanced distribution agreement between the two companies. Travelocity.com's vacations brand will launch its Disney product on the Sabre-controlled site during the second quarter, the company said. Disneyland Resort vacation packages are to be added to Travelocity Vacations' California product line later this year.
Consumers will be able to book the packages online or over the phone with Travelocity personnel. Travelocity had already teamed with Disney to sell Disney Cruise Vacations. The latest agreement calls for Disney marketing campaigns to Travelocity's 32 million members. |
