Re: McDonald's Leaving WDW

I have to confess i think Mcdonalds delicious and smells great, I hate the way they pump that smell within a 2 block radius...Scentvertisement...used to get me everytime.

But the real truth is we all know it's absolute garbage for our bodies. Removing MCdonalds from DW is a great idea, maybe it could help with the whole obesity epidemic we are going through.
I know I got started eating that junk becasue I fell in love with the Happy Meal. As I got older and started making my own healthy dietary descisions I cut Mcdonals out.

With all the kids that go through Disney in a year they could replace McDonalds with a healthy alternative. I especially like the idea of themed dining in certain areas of the park.

Re: McDonald's Leaving WDW

I don't get it. The habits little kids get these days from all those disgusting commercials McDonalds puts on. If you haven't noticed, when they're advertising for the children, all they talk about is the toys. If there were no toys, I honestly think kids would completely reject the greasy, floppy fries and mystery meat "hamburgers". Ew. Gross. I'd love to see all those carts replaced by healthier alternatives- maybe real potato fries, you know, the wedge ones? Or fresh fruit bowls or salads or something. My little cousin used to be in love with McDonalds until I showed her how good other things- like real hamburgers, fruit salad, and chicken salad sandwiches, tasted. Now she will never eat at "MickeyD's". Which brings up another thing- why can't WDW and DL serve real sandwiches? Like egg salad, or PB&J, and other things a kid would like and benefit more from? If they can't make them, how about giving the ingredients to the kids in cute little Disney character- printed pouches so they (or their parents) can make them themselves? I see nothing wrong with a foot long hotdog every once in a while though... teehee.

Re: McDonald's Leaving WDW

And when we were kids, how many of us used to dump the box of Sugar Smacks just to get the toy inside?
