Got My VISA Card!!!

Got our card yesterday. Of course they only sent one for DH even though I asked for one for me, too, so we have to call them. But it's so cool looking! Can't wait to use it! Looks like the rewards are neat. For example, a month or so before I go on a WDW trip I can call them or go on line & they'll send me rewards vouchers in $10 increments that I can use at WDW. They'll do the same thing if you tell them you're going to DL, & if you want to use it at the Disney Store or disneystore.com they'll send you a gift card. I can't wait. I figure I put an average of $2000/month on my card, so that's $20/month I'm accruing in rewards! I think I can find a way to spend that in WDW!

I got mine today too. I also requested one for my DH but didn't get it either. I guess I'll call Monday to see about getting his sent.

Isn't that weird? I'm wondering if it's a glitch in their system 'cause it's new. I thought I'd wait til the mail came today, too, to see if they sent it separately or not. Doesn't it make you feel special, though? Since we ordered ours through the DVC site it says "Disney Vacation Club" under his name & "Day 1" is right above it! I love the way it sparkles, too. I'm just so excited!

Now, I'm looking outside and waiting for the mailman to show up! I don't have mine yet, but, once I do, I won't be paying cash for anything-I'll just get those rewards and pay it off each month. Where is that mailman? And, when he shows up, will my card be there? I'll let you all know later today.:love: :) :nervous :!:

Huh. Mine got denied - said there were too many applications under my SS# so they were denying it... I was surprised to see it - I didn't expect it for a month.

That's scary. Hope the other application with your # were typos & not fraud. Let us know what happens.

I can't believe you got it so soon!:p When did you apply? I also will be stalking the mailman! I want a new fridge, so I will charge the fridge and pay it off with our income tax return...sneaky...huh?

I think it was about a week and a half ago that I applied. The bad thing is that they only sent the one for my DH & I'm the one that uses it the most. Oh well, just another phone call.

I couldn't stand waiting anymore!! So I called the "800" number on the application website, and they gave me a number to call to check on my application. The number is 888-338-2586. It's automated, but you can get to an operator if necessary.

I applied on 2/24, mine is still "being reviewed". The said it can take "up to" 30 days. I'll keep checking back.

My DH is just BOO HOO'n, because he didn't get his card yet!!!:cry: So, I'm sure he'll have me waiting by the mailbox all next week, until it comes. :dazed JOANN

I got a call from them today advising that the application was approved and we should getting the cards in a few days. Can't wait!!

So you called them? Did you tell them you had ordered 2 card originally? Did they say how long it would take to get the 2nd card?

I am so Jealous!!!:( I want my card now!!! I got the letter i mentioned in my other thred that they cancelled my other cc with them and i am approved for my Disney Visa. SO where is my card????? AHHHHH. I am just too impatient!!;) Oh well, nothing that I can do about it!!
