is labor day week busy? hmmm...maybe i could convince DH if she isn't missing as much school. nah, i need to not even look at free dining threads - its not gonna happen for us this year (the trip to WDW that is)!

I was there in 2007 for the 2 weeks leading up to Labor Day and boy was it CROWDED! I also went years ago for Labor Day weekend (Friday until Tuesday) and didn't think it was so bad...

I think the off season is get more crowded every year. People are traveling year round and the slow times are getting fewer and fewer.

We went on the Friday before Labor Day, and stayed until Tuesday after Labor Day (4 nights). It wasn't too bad, really. We usually visit during Christmas, so the Labor Day crowds weren't bad in comparison! As DT said, there are fewer and fewer slow times.

I have to agree! We went the last 2 weeks in August, leading into Labor Day weekend. I expected the crowds to be minimal compared to July, since most schools are in session across the country! I was so WRONG! I think all of the Northeast was there for Free Dining right along with me!!!!!

went in september last year for our anniversary september 10 thru the 17th it was way more crowded then we exepcted.

We went from Sept 6-9 this past year and there were NO crowds. It was absolutely perfect for us.

I spoke to a nice CM yesterday about it and I was told that they won't release dates but keep an ear open sometime in April/may
