I always wondered about "banning" people from WDW. With so many thousands of people entering the parks every hour, could a ban be realistic?

I believe they banned the kids that went on a rampage at Space Mountain last year. I will find the link and post later. Don't know the exact logistics behind banning, but I am sure they have Big Mouse watching

Believe it or not someone is always watching. You could get banned from the park and they have people just like you and me in the crowds making sure everyone is behaving. Plus cameras, it goes on and on....

I'd bet that WDW has facial regognition software and uses that to keep track of banned people.

I remember in 06, waiting in the wheelchair line to get on Haunted Mansion, We had to wait a very long time, couldn't figure it out. Well i finally asked the CM and she said someone (young guy) jumped out the doom buggy and was runnning around the place!! They had to stop the ride turn on the lights and look for this idiot! I asked her what was going to happen, she said well their vacation will get cut short and they (the whole group) will not be allowed back in ever. Now whether she was just saying that to ease our minds or they can actually do it I'm not sure. But I know when you make ressies EVERYONE's name has to be on it, no matter how young. Maybe they can do it that way. but of course I'm sure you can always use a fake name.
Always someone in the crowd has to ruin it for everyone...

The Slaphappiest Place On Earth
A group of rowdy New Yorkers on vacation in Disney World this past weekend were arrested after engaging in behavior that would generally make Mickey blush: spitting on and cursing at others waiting in line for Space Mountain and assaulting security personnel who tried to subdue them. Maybe, just maybe, they were drunk ... maybe. When a sheriff's deputy showed up, the eldest sibling, Brian Guilfoil, 19, was allegedly slamming his chest against a security guard and telling him to back off. The deputy intervened, and the four teenage brothers and sisters, as well as Brian’s 20-year-old girlfriend, attacked him, according to a sheriff’s report. The deputy ultimately used a stun gun to subdue Nicole Guilfoil, 17, after she allegedly slugged a security guard in the face.

“Security Officer [Michael] Torantello did not give [her] permission to hit him,” the report noted. Ohhh, well then that is bad.

Brian Guilfoil, 19, and his girlfriend, Rose DiPietro, 20, were charged with battery against a police officer and resisting arrest. They were released on Monday on $2,300 bond. Nicole Guilfoil and her younger brother, 14, and sister, 16, were charged as juveniles.

The Long Island family is banned from all Disney parks and resorts. Even Euro Disney.

I remember this...spitting on someone is the foulest thing you could possibly do. How that police officer didn't just smack them is beyond me. They should be banned...who the heck wants to vacation with trash like that around. Trash is the nicest, family-friendly word I can think of...just EWW

Unfortunately, there are obnoxious people everywhere you go, from everywhere. Fortunately, the good people outweigh th bad.

I am sure there is some measure in place. They already do biometrics when you go into the park.

On the banning of individuals: The casinos in Las Vegas have turned this into an art form. I am sure Disney has the technology, like Grumpy Medic said....thumbprint, anyone?

On the beating case: If this woman actually gave another woman BRAIN DAMAGE, she could have killed her. I think one year is pretty lenient.
