I wonder if you'll be able to get a print-out of your ADRs as well. That would be cool!!!! Sorry if CMs lose jobs though

I like talking with the CMs too!

Its like another dose of Disney to tide me over until the actual trip.

I hope there are no lose of jobs for any CM either!

Ok so I need some help! We are going 1/24-1/31. So I can call on my 180 mark which is 7/28 and only book adr's for 1/24 & 1/25 then have to wait until october for the rest of the week? I just want to make sure I'm clear! Thanks in advance!

If I were you I would call on 7/28 and try to book them all. They will tell you what you can do once your on the phone. I think there is a lot of uncertainty even with the CMs about whats going on, so call for sure on your day and ask.

As much as I like talking to a CM (they offer so many great tips and info), I personally would like to see the availablities of ADR in front of me so I can really decide w/o feeling like I am keeping the CM too long on the phone. So many times I hang up after making an ADR and realize it won't work or need a different time and have to go thru the whole thing again...

I know how much more convenient this will be for people and thats great but I really really HOPE they have completely worked out a lot of bugs. I feel like this is going to cause TONS of problems. Resturants are going to get double booked, people are going to make reservations in multiple locations for the same times/days and then not cancel the others, etc. I for one am nervous!

Good point! I often have the same problem myself. It never fails, right after I get off the phone, I realize I need to change something and have to go through the whole thing all over again!

Even though I will miss talking with the CMs, I will certainly like having the control of booking and seeing my ADRs for myself. It will be nice if we can print them immediately after they are booked.

Actually, I'm quite sure this is the primary reason for the change. Once the bugs are worked out, 1 tech guy can do the job of 50 phone operators.

It's all about cutting costs & people cost money to hire.

It's weird when you think about it.

1. Company A needs to cut cost because of a slowing economy.
2. Company A lays of people, adding to the rise of unemployment.

ADRs online would be a GREAT enhancement. Plus, I would think it would reduce the number and workload for the call center CMs by a ton. I can't wait to try it!!!
