Universe of Energy- Unintentional e-stop and evac today

I stuck out my feelers for any juicy tidbits of rumors today and here's what I ended up with.

Apparently today at EPCOT (pet peeve caps, again! ;) ) Ellen's Energy Adventure at the Universe of Energy was down for 30 minutes because of an unintentional e-stop (emergency stop) causing 1500 people to be evacuated. My sources say that a cast member who is a recent edition to the Universe of Energy crew hit the e-stop button by mistake.

What a day at work, huh? :D

Shoot, I was hoping that you were going to say that the really bad Ellen animatronic was finally eaten by that snake dinosaur. Someone needs to put that thing out of it's misery.

I agree, it looks more like a 87 year old Barbra Bush than Ellen!

Something definitely needs to be done about the phony ellen -- maybe move her to the hall of presidents in MK with george sr and george W?? Thanks for the scoop.

Ha, that's where it's funny. Ellen is the most expensive AA figure at Walt Disney World. Before her, the most expensive was the Wicked Witch of the West in the Great Movie Ride.

Wow, I guess they spent all the money on getting it to wave that big stick around, and didn't have enough to make it actually look like Ellen.:D

the witch looks like the witch from the movie .. that Ellen ..just looks awful ..every year I have hoped that they would have done something .. call GMA and get one of those make-overs for her or something .. she looks nothing at all like Ellen!
