Little Green Men ride at MK

Screamscape-

Little Green Men - Rumor - (11/26/03) This isn’t the first time we’ve heard this rumor, but it seems that the project to eventually transform Timekeeper into an indoor a Bumper Car style ride is still active. The new ride would be themed to the Little Green Men from Toy Story and Buzz Lightyear, complete with “The Claw” hanging from the roof of the building. If approved, it will have to wait until Stitch is open, but it could happen before the 20K Lagoon project.

This rumor sounds very interesting. This sounds like another renovation of Tomorrowland, which could be a good thing. What do you guys think of this idea?

Sounds like a great plan!

What have you heard about the 20K Lagoon project? Any recent rumors?

Ciao,
Alfredo

Screamscape-

2006 - 20K Lagoon Site - Rumor - (11/26/03) We’ve heard a bit more about the Lagoon project. While we still don’t know exactly what will go in there, it looks as if they are finally ready to demolish the lagoon site and flatten it out for the future project. We’ve heard that this may also allow them to modify the pathway into Toontown from Fantasyland as well.

The site where 20K LUTS was is right on top of the costume dept. of MK, so what they have decided to do is to relocate the Cotume Dept. out of MK. The last I heard is that they are breaking ground sometime in December.

Ground breaking in December huh? Has anyone noticed anything? I'll have to make a point to check it out next month.

A bumper-car-style-ride sounds like something that would load/unload slowly and not carry very many passengers per ride. But I bet it would be fun, and I'd definitely have to try it!!!! :D I'm always up for new Disney attractions...as long as they quit getting rid of classics, new attractions are welcome in my book. :heart

That reminds me...I recently bought Swiss Family Robinson on DVD and it brought back those hostile feelings...
They'd better not do anything to that beautiful treehouse!!!! :madmad

Green men? I love those aliens guys!!!! That would be a cool theme for a new attraction. As for the lagoon thing, I can't wait to see what they put there. As much fun as the character pictures are in that spot, I'd like to see Disney add another attraction. I'm praying for a HAIRY Villains Rollercoaster, but doubt they would do anything like that in Fantasy Land. I think Dumbo might get offended....:laugh i just want one villains ride...sheesh just one and I'd shut up about it. I may settle for a Villains character meal....hmmmm

New from Jim Hill:

This doesn't sound too good. I don't like the fact that CoP might be ripped out and replaced with a bumper car ride. I wouldn't mind if it replaced Timekeeper, because let's face it, the Timekeeper might never come back. But a classic like CoP shouldn't be messed with.
