Mulan II

My DD loves Mulan. In fact, for our first WDW vacation she found some scissors (in my sewing basket that was hidden) and cut off her hair because Mulan did in her movie. She did such a good job, that her hair was maybe 1 1/2" long all over her head!

Anyway, I had heard that MULAN II is scheduled to be released this fall. Does anyone have any more information regarding this? Her birthday is in October and I would love to purchase this for that occassion.

if you go to www.ultimatedisney.com you'll find out when mulan 2 will come out on video and dvd.

Most likely will be released on October 26 with the reissue or Mulan on DVD, though I have seen dates as early as September 14. Here is the synopsis from Keyframe:

Mulan and Captain Li Shang are going to be married, but before they can have their happily ever after the Chinese Emperor has a mission for them. The Mongol threat is growing once again and to cement an alliance the Emperor asks that Mulan and Li Shang escort his three princesses to marry the sons of a lord. Arranged marriage is not an idea that sits particularly well with Mulan and the task will be a test for her heart and her loyalties.

Mulan III shouldn't be far behind, probably a good year from when II is released.

I have seen the release date for MULAN but still no Mulan II. Has anyone seen anything yet?

no date has been released yet for "Mulan 2". keep checking www.ultimatedisney.com for further updates. it does say that it'll be released in the fall though.

I am soooo disappointed! I wanted Mulan II for my daughters birthday in October or at least for Christmas. I looks like the release date has been pushed back until Feb 2005.

I'm looking forward to Mulan II's release. I love the first one, esp. Mulan's character. And, the story line for the second one sounds wonderful. My oldest DD will be so happy. And her birthday is feb, maybe it will be out my then.

I saw on the new Micky dvd that it was coming and I got all excited! That is one of my all time favorites with Tarzan and Hercules. I suppose that its because they came out when my kids were little and so they mean that much more to me. I just love the music from them all.

I agree there are very few of the directly to Video features I really like. I hope this ends up being one of the good ones.

I'm frightened. But I live in hope. Direct-to-video sequels haven't usually impressed me much (there are exceptions).

According to a pamphlet in my Mulan DVD
Mulan II Is expected out sometime in Feb. 2005

My DD wants to be Mulan next year for Halloween!
