Re: Help me decide please...

I would STRONGLY recommend the 4 day cruise - 7 if you can swing it. Once you get on the ship you just won't want to get off and three days will go by far too quickly! There is just so much to do! You'll love it.

Thanks llama, I was considering the 7 day but I don't know if the kids would get ill -seasick, I know I probably will, heck I get nautious riding in the back seat. The more I read about the cruise the more I am leaning towards the 4 night cruise.

Re: Help me decide please...

Go for the 4 day (and 7 if possible) as mentioned. The 3 day is way too short. My wife is horrible about motion sickness, she cannot ride in the back seat, and if the air isn't blowing on her face full blast in the front seat, she gets sick. She has been fine on every cruise we have been on, and we have had some rough days.

I think the 4 night might be a good start for you, to get your feet wet. That will give you a good idea about the boat, what there is to do, etc., so for your 7 night, you will know exactly what you want.

Re: Help me decide please...

Rafikiman can suffer from motion sickness, too, but he loved the 4 day cruise & can't wait to schedule a 7 day one. His problem was AFTER we got off the ship...he said it took him nearly 3 wks to not feel like he was swaying anymore.

Re: Help me decide please...

my hubby gets motion sick as well and we did the 4 day cruise 2 years ago. They gave him some medicine at the front desk the first night and he was just fine the rest of the trip. He loved it and bought us another cruise for 7 days this December! Just tell the front desk and they will help you out.

Re: Help me decide please...

Go for it, the longer the better.........wonderful ship. Been on a few cruises and went on 11 day Hawaiian cruise in may aboard Royal Caribbean......and I have to say, the Pacific is much rougher than the southern Atlantic and the Caribbean. But did not get sick, ever, 4th cruise and never been sick.......you won't either, so enjoy.......take care and have fun.......Joan

Re: Help me decide please...

We did the 3 day on our first cruise, with a 2 1/2, and a 6 year old. Also my DW has some issues with the motion, and was affraid of the sleeping conditions (rocking).
Well, this Dec were doing the 4 nighter. We all fared well and had a blast, even with some real rough seas (which I thought was fun)
