I just booked my first Disney Cruise!!! Actually my first cruise ever!!!
Next December ( SOOOOO far away!! ) We are going to WDW and on a 4 night cruise!!! The best part is we were suppose to arrive on Tuesday night at WDW stay until Saturday then leave Sunday morning on the Cruise!! Now we are going down on Sunday or maybe even Saturday so we will have almost a whole week at WDW then a 4 Day cruise.
I am so excited!! We are Suprising our kids again!! We are not telling them about WDW until the day we leave and we are not telling them about the cruise either!! They will think we are getting ready to go home and we will take a limo to Port Canaveral!! Almost a whole year I hope I do not burst!!


Soo much to plan! ANY suggestions are very WELCOME!!

Oh, it looks like I am green with envy (again lol). Right now DH and I are in negotiation for a Disney cruise sometime in 2006. I'm wanting to potty train DD before we go, shes 2 and a bit of a challenge now. We have never cruised either but a Disney cruise will be the way to go!!! Congrats!!!!!!!

You are going to have so much fun!! I would suggest to get the travel mugs that you can buy.I think they were around $12-$15. Expensive but well worth the price. They are great because you can go down to the 9th deck and getsomething to drink when ever you want free. Also the shows are amazing! Hope you have fun!

We are going this month to do the same basic trip- we are doing sat-thurs at the parks and topping it off with the boat- the second time we have done this- Im so glad that you are going to do the boat last- Its so nice to relax at the end of the walking on a nice boat- ( but let me warn you Nassau is real scummy- do your beaching at castaway) they hound you from the dock for taxi and sales and there are lots of pickpockets there too - you have to be careful

Wahoo! I bet you got an awsome deal booking so far in advance. We're going on our first cruise too, but in April. The plan was no WDW this time, but that might change. I just ( 10 minutes ago) found out our friends (who moved to another state last year) are going to be in Disneyworld the same weekend we return to port. Dh doesn't even know yet since dh is not here and my friend and I were IM'ing each other. So...maybe, we'll do Disney afterall.

Awesome! We're doing our 1st cruise in July with 4 days before the cruise at WDW. I can hardly wait either, but you're going to have a tough time..keeping that surprise in!!! Make sure you don't slip! I just got a book called Passporter's Field Guide to the Disney Cruise Line. It's full of info (even what's on the menus). I read it in 2 days (first book I've read in 2 years..I have a 18 month old) which says alot for me. Another great place (to see some pics would be www.castawayclub.com or www.disboards.com some people have posted pics of their trip! Isn't it exciting!!

Thanks for the info. We plan on buying a few guide books. I also want to buy Birnbaums cruise book too.

We are going in December also, Christmas cruise 24th-31th, then staying at SOG until Jan 4th!! can't wait!!
