Cruise Transportation from WDW
I think we are booking the 3 days on land 4 at Sea for Early December 2005.
The cost of transportation from WDW to the cruise is 177.00. Is it worth it, or is it better to book on your own. If you use the Disney transportation, do they take your bags through security , do you have to check in at the boat also? Or is this all done for you. We have been on other cruises, never Disney. We were just wondering if it was easier. We have stood in some long check in lines and were hoping by using disney transportation , we could by pass the line! Traveling will be DH, DD-5 DS 9months and me Thanks |

Re: Cruise Transportation from WDW
Sorry I don't have an answer. Thought I'd bump this up so maybe someone who know would see it.
Hate to see a question go unanswered.

Re: Cruise Transportation from WDW
We've been on the cruise twice, but have always driven our rental car. As I recall, it was cheaper to rent a car (we were on 4 day cruises), than to use the bus transportation. What I can tell you is that the check-in at the cruise terminal is very efficient. You will definitely have to check in personally. Your bags are taken (other than hand luggage) at the curb, and delivered to your state room within a couple of hours, (usually). So I would assume that they are just unloaded from the bus and handed directly to the porters. The security is very thorough.

Re: Cruise Transportation from WDW
We have always used a car service...less hassle and you don't have to wait for others. My kids love it! From what I understand, disney transportation makes several stops and could increase your travel time to and from. We value every second of our vacation and like to get places as quickly as possible. We are also going on the cruise and our travel agent recommended the car service as well. Many folks have recommended Quicksilver, here is an example of their town car fees for you entire trip:
• LAND AND SEA TRANSFERS Airport (MCO) Disney Port Canaveral Airport (MCO) - $255.00 Not much more than what your paying for a shuttle that you have to share. Why not have private direct service! You deserve it...its your vacation ![]()
