Calling all Cruisers!!!
We have heard that you can bring some of your own "beverage" on board. We read this in the Passporter.
Has anyone done this and if so what all did you bring? Beer or just some things for mixed drinks?? I know, I know, I am cheap!! ![]()

Re: Calling all Cruisers!!!
I have never tried it, but hope that someone has info. for you. I have always been hesitant because depending on what you bring, the cruise line has every right to confiscate(sp) it prior to boarding. I believe though that they usually allow wine or champagne(sparkling wine) to be taken on board, BUT you either have to enjoy it in your stateroom or have it served with dinner where they will charge a corkage fee. Some cruise lines even hold/store liquor that you have purchased in port or in the duty free shop for you until disembarkation. Others may allow you to purchase the liquor in the duty free shop at the "regular" price so that you can enjoy it in your stateroom. Does the Passporter mention anything like that?

Re: Calling all Cruisers!!!
I'm sorry I can't help out here, as we didn't check into this! We really didn't want to lug bottles onto the ship, especially if you can't get to your cabin right away!
