For anyone interested in booking for 2008, I strongly suggest you submit your reservation request to Disney directly or through a travel agency, indicating your cruise date, people going, everyone's full name and birthdate along with stateroom type. Disney will contact you before rates are released to the public and get your stateroom booked. By far the cheapest way to book your Disney Cruise, since you get the lowest price possible.

Wow that is nuts! I have two rooms because of the family size and we paid about $4000 when all is said and done. I dont want to know what it would be now! We booked it in March of 06 for a trip Feb 07

i have been to key west a few times - it is a lot of fun.

we saw a special on the travel channel, and are seriously considering taking one. we are probably going to start with the land and see package, being we have a 2 year old, and have no idea how he will do on the boat.

I have e-mailed Disney a number of times via the official Disney Cruise Line website asking when 2008 is going on sale (I am going March 2008). Much to my surprise and disappointment Disney have not replied to any of my e-mails. Oh well even the best aren't perfect. Perhaps somebody else could try - maybe they just don't like me!!

how far out will they take a reservation?

Just phoned Disney direct. They are saying 2008 reservations will be available on-line within the next 45 days (which is 17th November to save you counting). As least this means I will be able to get my 2008 reservation all sorted before I fly out to Orlando on 7th December for 2 weeks (or a fortnight as us Brits say!!)

so if the 2008 dates are in november 2006.....if i wanted to sail oct 2009...then the dates and pices would be out november 2007?? would that be right???

so if its just me and the husband.... ....what price would we be looking at for a 7 day cruise??

also, looking at walmart site...they have cruises on sale etc....what travel agent do you recommend..as we are in australia, and need to manage it all online?

Karen, DCL usually released rates about 18 months at a time, sometime 24, just depends on what they are planning. They don't quite work like WDW, they like to do big chunks at a time.
