Cruise discounts?

Doing some planning for vacation next spring before DH deploys again . And I am considering a cruise this year.
Do they ever offer discounts on cruises, and is there ever a better/worse time to go, and schedule how far out?

Re: Cruise discounts?

I have done the cruise and found the week after Thanksgiving/first week of December to be fairly reasonable. It is considered off peak and the weather is bearable in the Carribbean. I wonder if they would offer a special discount because of your husband being on active duty?

Anyway, best of luck to you and your DH.

I have been trying to get DH to go on a Disney cruise for a while now ....(we might get there someday, lol) and from what I can tell the cruises are more expensive when kids are out of school, like Christmas break, spring break, summer break and Thanksgiving.

Re: Cruise discounts?

September is by far the cheapest time to go. Nothing else is even close. You run the risk of hurricane, but Disney is very good in planning around them.
