Disney Cruise Group Leader Free???
On many cruise lines if you organize a group for one of their cruised they will give the "leader" their cruise free for so many people booked. Does this hold true for Disney?
Also, does Disney give any group discounts? Thanks< |

Yes, Disney will do this, though you will need to book it that way. Here is the deal:
For every 16 paying passengers, the 17th is free, partially. They still must pay all port fees and taxes, which would amount to about $200 on a 7 night cruise. All members of the "group" will receive a small token in their stateroom upon arrival. Also, during many times of the year, they will also offer on-board credits for groups, depending upon when you are going, etc. I was told that they will do up to $500 per stateroom, depending upon when you are going and what type of rooms you are looking at. I would figure on about $15 per day though, and not much more than that if you can get it.

You guys are so funny - I was thinking the same thing!
I am sooo dieing to do another cruise (your fault, Mickey). It's so darn cold and miserable up her right now that I wish I could leave tomorrow. I almost had three other Moms in the area read to go, and I was the one who got cold feet - I couldnt' stand leaving my kids that long.

I have been on prior cruised but always in the summer (REALLY REALLY HOT in the carribbean this time of year). We are thinking about doing the land/cruise deal in the spring or early fall in the next year or two. Is that a good time of year??
