Disney Cruise Line Opening London Office



Disney Cruise Line has announced that they plan on opening a London office this summer. They will be relocating some employees from Central Florida to its new location. 20 employees total will be sent to the United Kingdom office, although not all exclusively from Central Florida. Disney Cruise Line's Senior Vice President, Tom Wolber, will be overseeing the operation.

Christi Erwin Donnan, spokeswoman for the Cruise Line, says that the company is looking to expand its international presence. She says that the London office will ensure a "well-positioned to tap into the European market and competitively recruit new talent."

Disney Cruise Line has approximately 3,000 employees. Of those, about 1,000 workers are land based in in the Celebration headquarters while others work at Port Canaveral or one of there other several locations.

Disney is currently building two new liners in Germany, which many say will lead Disney into basing a ship in Europe.
