Icon10 Guess who booked their first DISNEY CRUISE?

It's official!! I finally decided! After doing my research, getting quotes, and asking 1 million questions I BOOKED OUR DISNEY CRUISE! This is SO exciting because Daniel and I have been craving a new Disney experience for awhile now. We were HOPING for Tokyo next Spring but with the rates & travel economy right now that trip could possibly be an out-of-control expense! SO, here's the scoop!!!

Booked:

April 11th-18th, 2009: 7-night Eastern Carribean Cruise on the Disney Magic

Ports of Call: St. Maarten, St. John/St. Thomas, Castaway Cay

* We booked the Category 10 deluxe inside state room ( I TRIED to request those 'secret' porthole rooms & they are ALL booked already. ACTUALLY, they hardly even have a lot of space left at all )

* I did the "late seating" dinner

* We're adding the "Romance Package" which includes all of the following: guaranteed Priority Seating at Palo, Bottle of wine from the Premium Wine List, Tropical Rain Forest pass for two at the Spa (length of cruise), Romantic gift delivered to your stateroom (usually includes robes, picture frame, 8x10 photo voucher, & chocolate), Romance turndown service (one night), champagne breakfast in bed (one morning)

ALSO, this cruise leaves on a Saturday and I will have "Good Friday" off of work. I am pretty sure we will fly out Thursday afternoon, spend 2 nights (with our DVC points) at SSR & enjoy a little time in the parks before we depart for our cruise!

YAY!! I am BEYOND excited!

YES, absolutely! You can call the disney cruise line & they will give you all the details. I was reading on Mousesavers that the price of the package is worth it alone based on the fact that you can book everything early, the same time as "suite" or concierge guests.

Here's the link to the info on Mousesavers:

What are the spa passes?? I was reading about the spa services..does that mean you can do any of those as much as you want without paying extra? I am confused..because they seems like that alone could easily make up the $399 dollars.

The package is $339. per couple and the spa pass is actually a "Tropical Rain Forest pass" which is a part of the salon & spa. The 'tropical rain forest' includes fog showers, steam baths, "Turkish baths" with gorgeous tile lounge chairs & decor. I am already DAYDREAMING of visiting this every morning before breakfast. You have unlimited access to these with the package.

Re: Guess who booked their first DISNEY CRUISE?

I just have to add that after showing Daniel all of the the cruise photos on Allears, he said he's most excited about all the food & that cool Cadillac Lounge!

I am looking forward to the spa pass & the cool excursions we get to pick!

Unlimited access? Wow, that's a deal -- most lines give you a one-time-only pass.

Cruising is a great way to take a vacation. You're going to get spoiled like mad. Just be sure to budget a little extra spending money for any adult beverages you may want to have, as those aren't included.

Yeah, the good news is we'll have basically a year to figure out & save for all the "extras;" adult drinks, shopping, tipping, etc.

but mostly... the adult drinks

You are going to have an amazing time. Congratulations. Make sure you get the cruise planning video. You probably know a lot of it already, but it's so fun to watch.

Also see if the Disney Cruise special is on the travel channel. It will really put you in the mood.

I am so happy for you guys!
