Re: Western Cruise Excursions

We did the Western Caribbean on Carnival. In Grand Cayman we swam with the stingrays which was awesome!! They take you on a boat to which feels like the middle of the ocean, but when you get in the water it is only up to your waist!!!!! Be sure to take a water camera!!!! In Cozumel we went to the Mayan ruins- those were really neat also!! Both excursions I highly recommend and would do them again if I could!! Have fun!!

Yes, Yes, and Yes......We love this cruise we have done it about
4 times now.

Key West we did Bottom Fishing, Grand Cayman we have done swimming with the stingrays and snorkeling, and Cozumel snorkeling. I love all of these destinations. You are going to have an amazing time!

Mayan Ruins are ok. If you like being eaten alive by mosquitos. Also depends when your going. When we went the mosquitos were awful.

Re: Western Cruise Excursions

My dh went to the ruins in Tulume (sp?) off Cozumel. He really liked them, but the ride was long and it was very hot (April).

We did snorkling in Grand Cayman - just a short tour which was really good for beginners.

In Key West we just went on our own and took the tour on the trolly. Friends of ours went to the butterfly thing and aquarium and liked that fine.

Re: Western Cruise Excursions

We did the beach excursion at Grand Cayman (not really an excursion)...transfer to and from, all drinks/tips and chair rental. I wouldn't do it again...it wasn't worth 35 bucks. It may be worth it if you are going to drink and lounge...but I didn't get my moneys worth. Swimming with the stingrays sounds more fun!!!
