Good luck!

AAA (as always) offers Awesome incentives including a ship board credit, but I forget the amount!

Re: Best way to book a Disney Cruise?

Got to watch some of the sites...the fares quoted are not what you end up paying. Your best bet is to book through TA such as MICKEY here. About the best you can get generally is stateroom credit.

Re: Best way to book a Disney Cruise?

We booked ours with VacationstoGo. ....So far we have not had any hidden costs & they have been up front. It was reasonable.
We have 5 in our family so we have close friends into going with us (only 3 of them!) & one of our kids will bunk with them. It saved us tons!!!!

Re: Best way to book a Disney Cruise?

We booked with a travel agent for 4 nights at WDW and 3 night cruise on Magic on 9/20 and she was very upfront about all costs. I will be honest I usually book directly through the cruise line and feel more comfortable that way. The TA has been great and said she will send the documents as soon as she gets them, that is the only thing that makes me a little nervous.

Re: Best way to book a Disney Cruise?

We used our DVC points for the cruises....but VacationsToGo is a great site. Every other cruise we've ever gone on was booked through them and we've never had anything but excellent service.

Re: Best way to book a Disney Cruise?

I always book my WDW vacations online myself, but for some reason when it came to our Dis Cruise I felt more comfortable using a TA. I would look online and look for discounts etc, but then when booking I would go with an Disney experienced TA.

Re: Best way to book a Disney Cruise?

I booked a few months ago for Fall 2009 with smallworldvacations after looking at the several travel websites, the Disney site, and Sam's Club. Sam's Club and smallworldvacations had the best price + $100 or $200 credits. I went with smallworldvacations since I am not currently a Sam's Club member. I also thought it might be good to have a TA to answer any questions. FYI--I also bought trip insurance--but through TravelGuard/AIG because it was MUCH cheaper than what was offered through Disney. I don't usually buy trip insurance, but I don't want a last-minute-kid- with-stomach-flu problem to make me lose this $$$ and very UNrefundable trip!

Re: Best way to book a Disney Cruise?

Sometimes they have some good deals/incentives for the cruises in the american airlines site as well.

Airline Tickets and Airline Reservations from American Airlines | AA.com.
