Land / Sea cruise question
Were planning on taking the land/sea cruise and when I checked on line all I saw was the choice between Mod or Deluxe Resorts. Are there any where you can pick a Value Resort

Not sure because i've never done a land and sea but your best bet is to call the cruise line and i'm sure that you should be able. I've ask for all different situations and they have taken care of me. Remember it is disney i'm sure they can make anything happen just call.

Re: Land / Sea cruise question
If they DON'T give you that possibility you can always book them seperate yourself. You may even be able to get a better resort rate. We did this for next June, it doesn't effect anything. Magical Express can still take you everywhere, etc. no problems. We booked 4 nights at SSR using DVC points and paid cash for 4 nights on a Disney cruise.
Good Luck!

Yup, that's what I heard, just call and ask for what you want or book seperately. I can't wait to go on land/sea next year.

Re: Land / Sea cruise question
Thanks. When you watch the DVD they give just Mod or Deluxe which are both fine but I think your right it is better to book separate as I may want to down grade the Resort rooms and get a family suite on the cruise

Re: Land / Sea cruise question
We asked the same thing last spring. No Value resorts - even when the pool was closed at the CBR and no availability at the other moderates with a pool. They said we could go to the pool at the others but not stay there. Granted it was a unique situation due to major mistakes by the agent-but we would have been happy with a value and a pool! They Disney or agents- physically cannot book a land/sea/value resort with the package. Our situation was horrible due to the agent we used. But if you use Disney directly, you can make any changes yourself. They are not able to help you directly if you use an agent!
You will have to book seperate if you choose a value but do the math- it may be cheaper to go to a moderate depending on the agent or if you go directly through Disney. Other than the agent part, we had a BLAST on the land/sea cruise! Zoey

Re: Land / Sea cruise question
As far as the stateroom, we had a Cat 10 with a porthole last Jan and it was very nice for 3 average adult sized people. We were hardly in it so we viewed it like a hotel room, we are never there other than to sleep and get ready so we didn't need a fancy room ect...
There are a million awesome little things about the cruise that you will LOVE! I felt like a giddy little girl at MK for the first time! A brand new Disney spot to explore! If you have any other questions, feel free to PM me. I look forward to going back soon~ booking with Disney of course *smiling*. Zoey
