Re: Sea sick
You do have to have a prescription for the patches, if I am correct. They are called Scopalamine patches. I think most doctor's don't mind writing a prescription for you. My friend has always had to use them, and she does fine with them.
I have cruised before, and didn't have any issues, but you can most certainly feel the ship moving!! Even from the first night, when we had very calm seas, I was amazed at how much the ship moved. But then, on our last night, we went thru 30 foot seas, not fun at all. We were literally falling out of bed. Still didn't get sick, I guess I was too scared for my life to vomit!! If you aren't real sure about the motion sickness thing, I am sure they have something on the boat you could take to help you feel better if you needed it. If you are very prone to motion sickness, I would go ahead and take care of it before you left home. Good luck and happy (and puke free) sailing!

Re: Sea sick
There are these really great patches that you can wear that will really help. I am prone to Motion sickness. I haven't ever had a problem. I have been on about 12 or more cruises. I would suggest getting the patches from your doctor. They really make a difference.

Re: Sea sick
The only time I was sick was in the gift shops way downstairs during rough water. I went back to the room, got my sea bands and was fine. I brought every seasick medication I could find just in case! LOL! Never used the others though....
The cruise is worth trying! Just be prepared. Zoey

Re: Sea sick
Like I've stated before, in all honesty, you really don't notice any rocking on the ship! The stabilizer wings that they deploy really do a fantastic job of keeping the ship level in all sea conditions! And if it's the sight of the choppy ocean that does it for you, then there are so many things inside the ship to really take your mind off it! You don't even have to look out the portholes!

the ship was more stable then I would have thought. If it's still a concern you can take stuff before you go or get a small patch that you wear behind your ear which I hear works
