I was on a cruise before, so that makes me a member of the castaway club.

... I think ... The cruise/room was booked under my boyfriend's name and on his charge card, but (obviously) my ID card had my own name on it. They DO know enough that I was there too, right??? I booked my next cruise for my parents and I while onboard, so they OUGHT to...

Assuming that I am recognized as a member of the castaway club, am I the only one allowed to go to the reception or are my parents allowed to go to??? I can't imagine they would restrict a wife who'd been on a cruise with her friends from bringing her husband along on a subsquent cruise. Or a couple that had cruised before from bringing their children with them on their first family cruise. I booked both rooms for all three of us on board on my charge card. So by the logic of the other examples, all three of us should be able to go to the party. Or is that wrong?

I certainly am not going without my parents!

Also, are there any other perks to being a member of the castaway club I should know about??? They NEVER sent me any information about it like they were supposed to!!!!!!!!!!!! so I have no idea what's going on.

I really can't answer your quetsion at all in respect to the rooms you booked. I do know a "perk" of being in the Castaway club is the next time you cruise, you will get a free gift. The first time we returned we got 2 pins and a very nice DCL Duffel bag. The second time we returned, we got two different pins and a DCL beach towel. :)

O.k., I am definiately going to get after Disney then. I don't mind exclusion from the party so much, but I want my bag or beach towel! :)
