Yeah, I do love living around here. I mean, tourist season seems to get longer and longer but I can't really complain since I'm one of those "darn yankees" (from NJ; joke: A yankee is a northerner who visits and leaves but a darn yankee is a northerner who visits and stays). May is just horrendous. It's basically turned into a bike month and is a complete nuisance.

All I know is the first time I made reservations for our flight it was nonstop. I checked the itinerary it tells me something different. This upset me, because when I ordered these tickets they were nonstop, but also because they changed it without even letting us know. I always thought that if the itinerary changed the airline (in this case AirTran) would contact you to let you know of changes. I haven't heard one word from them yet. If I had not been looking the other day I wouldn't even know it had changed. The rate was probably too good to be true. Tickets were $69.00 each way. You mentioned Bike Week, I can only guess how busy it gets. We have tried to avoid summer months because it is so BUSY and driving is a nightmare. Last year we were there in April (the week after Easter), too cold for me. Also we were there in October, wonderful weather. This just happened to be the same time the Fall Bikers week was. I was really afraid it would be packed. Not too bad. We did enjoy seeing all of the bikes. DD thought they were real COOL. Thanks for the quick response and letting me vent!
