700 DVC Points for rent

I will not be able to use all of my DVC points this year, so we have just over 700 points available to rent. We are asking $11.00/point and accept credit card via PayPal.

Please send an email with your vacation dates, resort preference (including view preference) and room size to kmitchel@otsysinc.com.

Yes, it does depend on when you stay, where you stay and for how long. January is an off season so the number of points it takes is fairly low. The best value is to stay from Sunday to Thursday. If you decide to stay over a Saturday, you can always check the cash price vs. the point price.

Do you still have any points to rent? What is your use year and can these be transfered into my DVC account? I need between 40-55 points once I finalize my plans with my family for Old Key West. Thanks!

We are not DVC members *yet* - can we rent points/buy points from people and use them, even though we aren't members?

How does this work? Or is there somewhere (a website) you can point me to that explains how renting/buying points works?

If you have questions about renting points, I don't know of a central place that has the 'official' answers. You can look at the disboards.com site and that has a renting/trading area too.

Yes, you can rent points even if you aren't DVC owners. How it works is up to you, there are several different ways to do it. Mickey has offered some good advice in the past about using an escrow company to hold your money until you check in and find everything is as it should be.

I am interested in having 30 points transferred for my trip in 9/05. If you still have the points, I would be willing to pay $10/point and can pay immediately by PayPal as my account has the money already in it (not credit cards).
