I am trying to figure the cost of renting points for week of 8/24 - 8/30 2008. Any help would be appreciated. I am wanting a studio at OKW.

It looks like it would take you 74 points. You have one Friday night at 24 points and 5 week nights at 10 points per night.

Hey Dana, if you want another option for less points, Animal Kingdom Lodge Villas studios for that week would be 64 points in a "value view room"...probably a view of the parking lot or the like, but 64 points at AKL is a good deal! (77 for a "standard" view and then savannah view, etc. are more).

Studio Accomodations for 6 nights (8/24-8/30):

OKW Studio: 74 points

BW Villas: 81 points STANDARD view (Preferred View 94 points)

SSR: 86 points

AKL Villas: 91 points (savannah view)

WL Villas: 94 points

Beach CLub: 94 points

I'm just curious but will they be accepting reservations for "value view" at AKL by that time? I only ask b/c I just went to the Member's website to use the "interactive points calculator" for Dana and the ONLY option it let me use for her dates was "savannah view." I know "value view" appears on the "points chart" but I don't know when those become available.

Thanks for the chart wish...still crunching those numbers and trying to talk DD into it. She's not game right now. This year is her senior year at her school. Next year starts high school. She had confirmation, graduation and two class trips....she wants to do hershey with her girlfriends etc and I just can't see how I can shove disney in without finding a cheapo way to do it...problem is, I will hate doing it the cheapo way, so I may just have to save this year and do next year...still not ruling out anything. I bonus at work and I am SO going.

Every so often someone will post on here renting points. You will want to PM them for more info.... We have done this.. and we had great success! BUT.. you have to wait for someone to offer.

If available go with The Beach Club. What a great resort. It really adds to the "Magic"
