I have a question...are the DVC rentals usually saturday to saturday, or sunday to sunday, when doing 7 days? It's been a while since we rented, I honestly can't remember.

I loved staying DVC, we're considering again for 2009.

I loved staying DVC, we're considering again for 2009.

One of the great things about DVC is the flexibility. Your reservation can start any day of the week and be as long or short as you want. Our next reservation is Wednesday to Sunday.

How exactly would you rent points to someone? can anyone explain that to me plz. that would be a good thing to know just in case I want to do it in the future.

You're really renting a reservation from a member. The member calls and makes the reservation in your name and you pay the member the amount of money agreed on. The number of points varies based on the time of year and night of the week.

That depends on the resort, time of the year (season) and the night of the week. Weekend nights are almost double the points and points vary based on the time of the year. Do you know when and where?

Disney rent studios from $225 per night + 12% tax.

If you want to stay at a DVC resort or villa, renting is the way to go. You can save alot of money! We're DVC members, but our friends have rented points from our friends here at MB.

Ok so if I wanted to rent point for the beach club villia.Would I need to rent from someone who has this resort as their home resort.Also how many points for a 1 bedroom or studio(is a studio the same size as a normal room at the BC)Oct 30&31 2009.

Here is a great website for seeing how many points it will take for reservations:

Just choose 2009 and the hotel you are intersted in, after that you can look up dates and see how "much" it will cost you.

Any member can book at BCV but someone who owns there can book at 11 months out, all others have to wait until 7 months out to book there.

Your room choices are studio (usually a queen and a double sofa bed--sleeps 4), a 1 bedroom (king bed in the bedroom and queen sofa bed --sleeps four), 2 bedroom (can be a studio and a 1 bedroom connected other rooms may have 2 queens in the second bedroom---sleeps 8). There are also some 3 bedroom grand villas.

It's my understanding that the 1 and 2 bedrooms at AKV sleep one more than the other resorts----someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

How does this work if you want to get the dining plan? When you make the reservation do you also buy the park ticket at that time?

When we rented from Rlcarmichael he added the plan to our reservation but we paid for it and our tickets when we checked in. I was nervous about renting but it was easy breezy!
