Attendance in August?

Hello fellow disneymaniacs!

It seems that the only time we can go this year is during the second week of August. Has anyone been there at this time? Surely the attendance can't be as bad as Christmas, which we experienced last year. Any body got any first hand experience with this time of year?

Yup, been there at that time. Although the parks are busy, it is not nearly as crowded as the Christmas week. For instance, I do not recall that the parks were closed because the capacity level had been reached at that time. It was HOT though.

We go almost every year in August. Florida schools go back around the 8th or 10th, so if you go after that , local attendance is down. We usually go from around the 13-20th and the crowds aren't too bad. It is very hot,however.

it is hot hot hot in august...however not FULL capacity..but it is crowded
