Which would you choose?
I have a suprise Disney trip planned for DH at the end of Aug. Well tonight at dinner we were talking about Disney World and DH asked me if we were to plan another Disney Vacation when would I like to go? And then he mentioned that maybe we can go around x-mas time since we have both never been there during that time.
Ahhhhhh  Should I change the dates?

Oh wow, that makes it difficult doesn't it?
 I voted November into December before I had even read all of your post...I voted just because I would love to go at Christmastime sometime. I'm sure your DH would be thrilled even if you kept the trip planned for August though.  So I don't know what to tell you!!Maybe you should KEEP it scheduled for the time that you do, because don't you think he's more likely to be surprised that way? LOL I don't know. I'm not helping at all. Good luck deciding!!

Edited because I don't read very well, or something.
At first I was thinking you'd be better off going at the end of August because of crowd levels...but I see you are thinking of going Nov/Dec. The crowds should be pretty thinned out from Thanksgiving fairly soon after you get there if not already... I'd say go for Nov/Dec. You get the better weather/less crowds/decorations going for you then. What you DONT get is a surprise for DH. Is it more fun to surprise him or have him help plan?

I choose Nov. to Dec. because the Christmas decorations are just great... and if you have not seen them you are really missing out... also... in August it is still really hot... and you will have bigger crowds until after labor day..... once labor day is over the crowds do thin a bit and the weather is better too.... But If I could go only once I would choose Nov to Dec. I hope that helps.... Surprises are great, but planning together is too....

I chose other. The last weeks in September are the perfect time to go to Disney.

I chose Nov/Dec. I went the week after Thanksgiving (arrived on Wed. night) 2 years ago and loved it! It was so great to see all the parks and resorts decked out for the holidays, but not have to deal with the crowds.

I chose August/Sept because I don't think you will have any crowds then. But if you decide to go No/Dec, you will probably really enjoy all of the decorations. You really can't lose with either choice!

Though I am the type to say you can never go wrong with WDW, since he mentioned he would like to go around Christmas and you said it was a suprise trip for him, I would say go with Dec.

November-December has to be a great time to visit WDW. All the Christmas decorations will be up and the weather is awesome.

I know that more than anything you probaly want to go ASAP...but trust me....christmas at wdw is a treat in itself!!
Plus...I think that in between Thanksgiving and Christmas is historically the lowest crowds...

Thanks for all the help. Although I havent made any final decisions yet, I keep leaning towards Nov into Dec... I called Disney yesterday and asked them if it would be a prob changing my dates. (I allready put a deposit down for the Aug/Sept dates) The CM was great and she said that it wouldnt be a prob at all as long as the resort I choose is available. So I figure I should have made up my mind by oh early Nov.
