Packing List
I try to keep a copy of a packing list for all my trips on my computer. We usually go to destinations with warmer weather so I use one of the previous lists when planning a new trip and make additions/deletions as needed. A week before our vacation, I check the list and print a hard copy to use as a check list. You can easily access your list while reading tips in the forum and from other boards you may visit. It is a timesaver as well as a stressless, peace-of-mind tool. I don't forget to take something that I wanted to pack because I can refer to my list.

I do the same thing.
It works great! Of course my one and only vacation checklist is a Disney one. :) It has the 100 Years of Magic logo on top and everything we need or needed that we should have brought on the last trip. Come on March 15th!.

I'm going to start making a list on the computer....does anyone know where I could find tips of things to take to the parks? I'm going to surf around this site some more and see if I can find something. Thanks lopo for giving me the idea to do this. I'm on the computer a lot lately, and never thought to do that :)

Packing List
I found a pretty good packing list here. It is a good place to start. Just copy it and paste it into your favorite word processing program, make changes to fit your needs, and voila, and instant packing list!

wow that is so incredibly anal.
I do the same thing, but only a a legal pad. I should graduate in to the next realm of obsessive conpulsiveness and use a computer next time. Thanks for the idea. :)

Mickey's suggested link for a comprehensive packing list was a great one. If you'd like to read about some actual vacationers' packing tips, you may also want to check out this link:
