We are thinking of taking a spring trip in the middle of March 2006. With Easter being April 16th, we are hoping to avoid the crowds of spring break. This will be trip #16, but only our 2nd time there in March. We did this one other time about 7-8 years ago and the crowds were down. But, would this be the case this year? When are the other schools taking spring break in 2006?? I believe that the resort rates go up on or about March 19th. Does that mean that Disney expects (or hopes for)the crowds to begin then?
Does anyone have any ideas or advice for us? Thanks for your input.

Our schools have spring break the first week of April (4th or 5th). I think K-12 schools generally have late March/mid-April spring breaks, whereas colleges will usually have spring breaks late Feb-late March. We went 1st week of April this year and crowds were not horrible. Waits were generally 50-60 minutes, but with Fast Pass, it wasn't too bad. We would go again at that time.

Thanks for the help!! Our spring break is in March this year, so we only get 3 days off at Easter. We would really like to go in March opposed to the summer months. Hot, crowded and possibly rainy .

Does anyone know when the Florida schools (approximately) have their spring break?
