This is a great thread! I am pretty thorough in my packing--always have a list! But, I have gotten some wonderful ideas here.
I love the spreadsheet idea. I think I'm going to just take Dana's list, tweak it for each of my family members into a spreadsheet. Then I'm going to laminate it, and I can just use it over and over for every trip! I am so excited!

Oh, how organizing gets me all pumped up!

I posted them on here some where.....if I can't find them, I post this year's when I get done with it. I won't be done until all the ADR's are made and all my confirmations are added....and color coded.

or you could print one out for each person and have them check off the items as they find them. I make my DD do her own and then I "inspect" her picks..lol

After the experiences of the June trip, when Den & I went in March for our Anniversary, we went 'Monk' in the rooms and wiped down everything. Well worth the 15 minutes it took.

I'm bored & playing with my disney excel file & added a worksheet for packing! i used yours as a base & added a couple of things that I thought I'd share - more later when I keep working on it, I'm sure I'll think of more!

~extra glasses if your wear them (i have a spare pair) & those little screwdrivers for glasses (i had a screw loose one time, no comments please - and was searching for something to tighten it with - these are tiny & take so little room, but so handy)

~tums!! I for one will be eating ALOT - and some of it is not my normal foods - so tums are a must for us.

~immodium/pepto/mallox or whatever for back in the room. if you have a bad experience & need it, better to not have to pay out the rear...ok, bad analogy. sorry!

~massager - we got one of the little battery ones at a drug store last trip & it felt so good on our tired feet, legs, shoulders & even the top of our heads (weird, but nice)! we used it in the car too - while on our LONG drive - it helped a lot.

~book light - we are readers, but sometimes, you don't want to go to sleep when everyone else does, but since we are all in one room, lights gotta be low/out. booklight comes in handy! in the car too, so we could read while it was dark, without the dome light on.

also, if you have little ones, post it notes are great for keeping the auto flush toilets from flushing - my DD hates those things. I got mickey shaped post its at target last year & saved them for my purse, just for this! works like a charm!

No need to add this to the official list, but when travelling with teens, we give them the WDW Dining & Shopping Gift Card -- which is now available online and in Disney Stores! Or you can buy them at any park shop as always.

These cards set an automatic budget, and they can also go on their own without having to have a credit card carrying adult with them all the time! They are good at any shop or restaurant that uses a cash register.

Excellent plan. Just be aware. I bought a bunch of them and one didn't activate. It took me a long time on the phone with a CM to get it fixed. They told me it happens...very often. Just a warning. I kept using them anyway to make payments on my trip.
