Delta Airlines now running Song Airlines

We just found out tonight that our flight with Delta is now on a new airline called Song. Evidently it is run by Delta Airlines. From what I was able to find on the WWW they are planning on having individual entertainment systems for each passenger much like Jet Blue has. Sounds like they are trying to compeat with the northeast to Fl route that Jet Blue flys. Good thing I had my wife go on line and check something out or we never woul dhave known! We also found out that our flight was moved from 6:20AM to 7:00 Am something else we didn't know!

Yes, keep checking with Delta. Our flight plans have changed , and if we didn't check we wouldn't have found out till we confirmed the flight the night before.

I heard about Delta's new airline a few weeks ago. I always travel JetBlue from New York, and decided to check out SONG after I read about it in the Long Island Newsday! The rate was great...only $155 round trip for the dates I wanted! However, I couldn't book the flight yet. Well, 3 days later, I look at the rates and it is up to $235 round trip!!! Wow, in a matter of days the rates went up so quickly! Plus, I called Song and found out that they will not have personal entertainment systems on all planes until late October...I think I will stick with Jet Blue for now. But it is DEFINITELY trying to compete with JetBlue. They are even offering a video game system that allows you to play with other passengers on the plane! Another thing to note is that they will only give out beverages...no food. But you can BUY food on the plane!!!
