printing boarding pass
I was wondering if I do the 24 hour in advance check in will I have to print my boarding pass right then and there or will they Email it to me? My printer is broke and i dont want to go buy another anytime before this trip

I usually fly SWA and I know you can print it at home or at the airport when you get there.

I just did this a few minutes ago on southwests site. There are 2 of us and I was able to print out both of our boarding passes. All you need is your confirmation # and all the people that are booked under that # are listed. I did ours just a few mins past the "24 hour" mark that you can check in and we got group "b". I honestly dont know how they figure it out cause when I did my moms checkin/boarding pass about a month ago for her flight I did it almost at the same time etc and she got group "a"...
Also one more thing: After I put the conf# in and passengers name it takes you to the screen with everyone listed then underneath all of the names it says (check in and print boarding passes) so I dont know if you do that just to check in and just not print out the boarding passes if you can re-print out your boarding passes when you get to the airport? I cant see why you could just print them out at the airport seeing as how you are allready checked in.. I dont think that its going to be a problem. Quote:

If I recall correctly you can check in and when you check your bags you can get your boarding passes, but I might be getting my airlines confused.

If you decide on doing it on your home computer then you can check in 24 hours prior to flight departure on SW..... The whole section thing is confusing to me cause I did it right away and got section "b" so I have no idea how SW works it...
Hey here is a thought but maybe could you go to your local library and use the computers there and print out your boarding pass? I know ours has computers set up with internet access but Im not sure if they are free? Or does someone else you know have a printer and you could use theirs? Just a thought... If I lived closer to you I would gladly print them out for you.

You don't need to actually print the boarding pass out, all you need to do is check in. You can wait and get the actual boarding pass at the airport. It just saves you a step if you are able to access a printer before you leave.
