Has anyone flown on SW with the new boarding system? - Page 3

Now I am just coming home from using the new system. Apparently they do not have all the bugs worked out.

When we boraded in Providence, the guy just called A 1 thru 30 to stand in one line and A 30 thru 60 to stand in the line next to it. He didn't use the smaller numbers that divide everyone into the correct numerical order.

But when we were departing from Orlando, they did use the correct system there. They put you in the line 1 thru 30 and 30 thru 60 and then ask you to line up numerically according to the smaller signs that break you into groups of 5.

When done correctly, it worked quite well.

ddoll, you'll have to report again when you comeback from the Marathon trip in January. I'm flying out of Providence in late March and I hope they have it worked out by then.
