Re: The tipping thread
This is really good advice. Some people get very confused about the correct amount for tipping.

Re: The tipping thread
Thanks for the great tipping advice. Last year was our first trip on site and although we were not too far off, I could have used the info then. To be honest it was one of our first long hotel stints and at first it didn't even cross my mind.

Re: The tipping thread
One time at Le Cellier, we had an awesome waitress. My kids ordered 2 Shirley Temples and they came with a cherry in them.My son said thank you to her for putting 3 cherries in his drink. She came back with a small bowl with about 20 cherries in it for my kids. This made their night! She was also right there with refills on drinks and pretzel bread. She was so pleasant and made the whole meal that much better. We were on the DDP and tip was included at the time. I gave her an extra $25 and she was fighting with me about taking it. I told her she deserved it and I even told the Manager on the way out how great she was. Sometimes I see the way people treat the CM's and it makes me wonder how they can still maintain the "magic". When the service is above and beyond, tip them well. They are a big part of what makes us keep coming back.

Re: The tipping thread
Love this thread.
Here's a tip for non-tipped cast members who give you good service/go above and beyond to make your experience just that much more magical: If you are at a park - stop by Guest Relations and fill out a "guest commendation" report (it has a name but I've forgotten it for the moment) for that cast member! I'm sure there's an equivalent at the resorts - maybe one of the resort cast members could fill us in?

Re: The tipping thread
you know I've always tipped the CM's that have treated me in a good way. and I was accustomed to going with my older brother and him tipping everyone that went out of their way to help us out and since i've been going with my g/f i tip the same way when I went with her the first time I did the same thing tipped who I thought deserved it or earned it well, one morning when I left a tip for the mousekeeping lady it was gone when I got back and I happened to see her the next morning and I asked her if she had taken it just to make sure and she said that no that she hadn't seen it. I found out that my g/f's mom didn't beleive in tipping them and that she took the money I was enraged and me and her no longer really get along. but she's another story. lol!
my main question was I went to CRT for dinner and it was EXPENSIVE to me for the food but the experience made it "Magically Amazing". when we finished eating the waiter wasnt that good but I still was going to tip him but when I went to give him the money he said no that it was included so when he left I still left it on the table but. is tip really included in the bill or not?
