Grand Gathering Experiences
Has anyone done any of the Grand Gathering Experiences?
Our December Trip has now turned into a "Grand gathering"; joining my family of four are both sets of grandparents (it's a secret to the kids - they have no clue of the trip or that their grandparents are coming with us).

Re: Grand Gathering Experiences
Have done all of them...they are worth the money. Hope they come up with more. You feel like you are very special people.

Re: Grand Gathering Experiences
I wanted our Dec trip to be a GG but it didn't happen. Before I knew I looked up all the information & there are so many great things to do. Special seatings and dinners, boat rentals for the entire party with Capt Hook and Peter Pan even came to meet you for your return to shore. Epcot had a special one with great views of the fireworks. I can only dream of some day everyone coming along & being able to do a GG. If you have something to celebrate let it be known b/c they will make it even more special for you. If your going to get the dining plan and you want to take advantage of these things I would say get the 3 meals p/d b/c a lot of them will require 2 meals p/p for the event & it will save you money. Where if you just get the 1 TS, 1 QS & 1 S you will end up running out of meals. That has happened to a couple I know. It's better to be sure how many points each place requires ahead of time so you know and wont end up with a big surprise. When I was checking into it I took a poll of all the rest. people liked and wanted to hit while there and came up with a plan to see how many meals it all would require...the larger plan turned out better for us. SO I really suggest doing your research for your personal trip and seeing which works for you. To make the trip extra special go for the GG experience!
