 I pack a week ahead of time just to much sure I have everything I need! I get so excited I just can't help myself to pack ahead of time!

Mostly, we start packing 2 or 3 days prior to leaving. The last things go into the bags the morning that we leave. Mostly because the clothes we are taking are the same clothes that we are currently using (except for winter trips).

We usuallly pack a couple days before. I usually do laundry at that time so we pack as we go along.

I pack the day before I leave. I use my clothes and don't want to pack them until they are all clean and I won't need them again before they go in the suitcase.
I make lists ahead of time so I don't forget anything.

I put stuff aside for a couple of months before our trip, we actually bring out the suitcases about a week before!!
60 days?????  Really??? That would be sooooo cool!! Where all are you going?Oh and my DH ALWAYS buys new socks for vacation!!! ALWAYS!!!! It seems like that is the only time   Soooooo maybe if he would wear out his socks quicker we could go more!!!! I where flip flops so I am not too worried about the socks too much!!
