A friend just emailed that she got a great deal on Travelocity.com for some travel later this summer. I went and checked on the flights that we have booked coming up in July and October. BOTH of them are about $100 cheaper per ticket than when we bought them in March.

So, if you are waiting to book tickets, check them out and you might get a good deal!

Thanks for the tip!! DH has been waiting for some good airfare deals to come out because he's got a trip to NYC planned soon.

(And maybe if we can snag a good enough deal, we can get our airfare for Disneyland this fall too!

I am not doubting you, but I am just noting that I have never seen a good deal on travelocity...not one that beats going to the airline's website and tweaking their system until you get the best deal. Congrats to you friend...I have never seen it, so good for her for finding a deal

I just checked Travelocity for my September trip. We paid about $100 cheaper in March than the price they are offering now. It probably depends on where you are from. It does make me feel good that we got our tickets before gas prices started soaring!

I've never seen good deals there either. I'm glad they helped someone though.
