Pal Mickey?
Hi I could not find a search for this site to look for any info on a Pal Mickey?
I am taking 2 and 3 yr old children with us in Spet and I want to know if we should get one. Where can a person buy one and what exactly does he do? Please put this in the right forum as I had no idea where to ask this question? Thanks Susie |

Re: Pal Mickey?
We got one in 2003 and used it some during that trip but he quickly became something that we left in the room. The information was ok but it wasn't worth the trouble of hauling him around all day. He now has a spot on a shelf at home.

Walt Disney World Resort - Detecting Browser Properties . . .
Here you go! Just got one for DD's 11th birthday. She is very excited about using it in Sept. I think it will get a little tiring carrying him around all day, but she is happy to have him with her for our next trip.

Re: Pal Mickey?
I have two children and they each have one (DD7 and DS14!!!) We got them back in 2005 and my son doesn't take him with him on trips anymore but doesn't want to give him up, either. DD still loves hers and looks forward to getting him a new outfit with each trip. The information is okay, the jokes are funny the first time.

Re: Pal Mickey?
Did anyone who bought him think it was a good value and toy for your child?
I looked trying to find out what exactly his price was seeing it is listed no where on the link but they go for on ebay as high as $75 just for the Mickey no box or anything he came with. And not one auction lists what year they bought him. I have never spent $75 on a toy before and really want to know if anyone on mousebuzz who bought him felt the info he gave was good for your family trip? I can see both the 2 and 3 yr old fighting for him because I am only going to get one. So I need to know if you felt he was really a good purchase? Thanks a bunch! |

I think they retail for about $65 you can rent them during your stay as well. I got one on e-bay for $50 He came in his sorcerer outfit, he came with a lanyard and instructions. The lady also threw in a FP/ticket holder and a pin. He has been fun to play with just here at home. I can't wait to take him to the parks. I think I am as excited about him as DD is. I think his value depends on how much you use him. If both kids get a lot of use out of him I think he will be worth it.

Re: Pal Mickey?
We bought one in 2004, & while DBF & I get tired of him REAL quick, my son loves to have him. He plays with him during the bus rides to the parks & in the hotel room while I get ready in the AM. We have not gone back without him, he can be useful but really it's more of a toy. Would I buy him again? probably, since my son still likes him. Although he won't play with him anymore at home ( he used to), I think he's getting a little old for it (until we get to WDW where EVERYONE is a kid!)
