Okay.... its been awhile, but I have found more tips on the net:
  • MGM - Don't miss the dog's nose in the HISTK playground
  • EPCOT - At the Outpost, there is a cooler that has a suprise when you lift the top
  • MK - There is a hidden Tink at the exit to BTMRR carved into the door near the CM exit door
  • AK - Look for the small door in the rock wall in the Boneyard at Animal Kingdom
  • MGM - There is a great photo op in the New York Street backlot that is a car on a lift that allows guests to "lift" a car
  • AK - look for the hidden path - turn right after going over the bridge to Harambe and take the 2nd paved walkway on the left
  • MK - On the JC, the chanting natives are actually saying, "I love disco" ~ if you aren't sure what disco is, ask your parents....
  • MK - At the lost and found on Main Street Station, you can see Pluto's bone and Aladdin's lamp
  • MGM - Look down at the fallen letters on the signboard in the lobby while standing in the queue area for TOT
  • EPCOT - The EPCOT rose just past the Fountain of Nations supposedly represents the center of WDW...you will see the pink tiles
  • AK - Across from Dawa Bar, there is an "old fort" that is actually full of tables and chairs and offers an escape from everyone else.
  • MGM - the license plates at Sci-Fi Restaurant represent the state that the Imagineers are from - the letters are their initials and the numbers are their date of birth
  • EPCOT - In Sea Base Alpha at The Living Seas, the crates of scientific equipment are labeled with letters and numbers... you guessed it... the initials and birthdates of the Imagineers
  • MK - While eating at Cindy's, you can request a crest guide for the lobby which reflects the crests for Walt and the Imagineers
  • MK - One of the mirrors in Pooh doesn't reflect as a typical mirror should

Sorry... one more...

Each morning a child (usually a girl) is chosen to wake up Tinkerbell at the store inside the castle (Tinkerbell's Treasures). The child is loaned a wand to tap on her music box to wake her and release her from her box. The child is given a certificate and stickers... When the ropes drop... you should high tail it to the store as it is very competitive to be the child chosen - usually the first child.

I just found this thread for the first time and it is fantastic! I am going to print all of these out so I won't forget them on my trip. I guess I miss some of these little tidbits by being in such a hurry to get to the next attraction. I need to slow down and look for the little bits of magic here and there.

at the Animation tour in MGM you can ask the disney artiest to draw a charactor in your child's autograph book at the end of that part of the tour. Just lag behind when everyone moves on. Both my DGD's and my niece got this done

there is a picture of one in this thread

He pops out of the ceiling and says "FSU" for Florida State University. The guy that created the ride was a graduate and this was his choice of signature for the ride. We got stuck for 45 minutes in 1999...believe me...I know exactly what every creature in that last scene is saying..!
  • MGM - On TOT, Sally Shine, the little girl, is holding an authentic 1935 Mickey Mouse stuffed animal.
  • EPCOT - On TT, in the heat test, if you will look at the electric heat compressor, you will find fried eggs; while in the cold test, there are popsicles in an ice cube tray; in corrosive area, the robots serial numbers spell out CRUS-T and RUS-T. The driver of the semi truck during the evasive maneuver is actually a cardboard cut-out of President Nixon.

More later...I get tired of typing...
Oh WOW, that is so great!! Those little tidbits are just so much fun, I'm glad BDavis drew our attention to this thread again!

About that little "critter" on Splash Mountain...I thought it looked like he had a college shirt on!!! But we always thought he was sneezing and saying "Achoo!!" :laugh :laugh

DisneyAnne, where did you GET all these tidbits?

For those staying at the Wilderness Lodge: Don't miss the jumping fish. To make a long story short, there is "duck food" you pay 25cents for at the WL dock to feed the ducks except the fish are the ones who get it . They literally JUMP out of the water for it. It's hysterical and fills some dead time while waiting for the next boat. My DD and I plan on making it our new WDW tradition. That and eating at the Whispering Canyon.
