Sorry you haven't been able to find any PP photographers. I just got my CD on Friday, after editing for a month, and have 800 pictures on there! We saw them everywhere! Keep looking! The pictures you get are worth the effort!

I saw on the casting website . . . that they are hiring Photopass photographers . . . and for the pay scale they are offering I'M NOT SURPRISED there aren't as many . . . jeesh!

That is VERY true, I've been seeing Photopass Photographers being recruited on that job site constantly for a couple years now. I actually think that would be a job I would enjoy doing tremendously but heck I could NOT live on that low salary. God bless 'em.

Perhaps Disney should start being more specific in their job recruiting..."must also possess the skills necessary to ACT HAPPY even though you're starving and homeless!"

That's exactly how it was for us in November. I had to chase them down and then they were sometimes reluctant to take pictures

This reminded me....I had one guy at the Animal Kingdom who we had to actively pursue and ask him to take our picture. When I asked if he would, he said "No."

I thought he was serious (and part of me still thinks he initially was ) but then he tried to cover it up by joking "Yeah of course, of course..."

I certainly don't blame them for not loving their jobs, but it did irk me that they weren't nearly as engaging or friendly as the PP photographers I remember at Disneyland.

the heat would be hard, I agree, but seriously, it's not a HARD job. I agree, you could not live on that money, but say you were retired, collecting a pension, and this was extra money - as I did see alot of older people there, heck I think it would be a great job.

I love to take pictures, people are happy - or should be because they are on vacation at DW - you could have fun with them, sorry, if I could, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Yes, my Dad is right there with ya! Now he's retired he is always telling my Mom he wants to move closer to WDW to be a tram driver! or the Ferry captain since he's a Navy retiree too!

It's become a family joke, but I think he is serious!
