I have been going to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge & Sevierville, TN, for years. What I didn't know, until I accidentally stumbled upon it this trip, is that there is a Disney Store in Sevierville!! I bought 2 coffee cups for $12.00! They had T-shirts for $5.00 each! (none my size that I liked) Plus, oodles of items for the children. They sell Disney tickets, too! (I asked. lol) It's located in the Tanger Outlet Center! I will be going back.

I am so thankful that I have a Disney Store at my local mall that is just 5 minutes from my house. It's what gets me by in between trips to WDW!!! From time to time they do have some awesome deals.

I have been to that Disney Store also. They also have one in Myrtle Beach, SC. I bought some shirts @ the one in Myrtle Beach for $3.00 dollars a piece. They had some really good deals!

I have been going to this area of TN since my youngest was 2 years old! I have never seen the Disney Store before. Fact is, it was my hubby who spotted it! lol I even asked them how long they had been there. The manager said they had been there for years!

We have a Disney store in our Tanger outlet too in the Wisconsin Dells (waterpark area), about 1 1/2 hrs away!

We have a Disney Store at our outlet mall too--Concord Mills in Concord, NC. I got a great deal on some princess nightgowns for my youngest daughter a few months ago. I want to go back and see if they have any good deals now that it's the end of the summer.

The Disney Store by my house sells Tickets, etc. Is there any advantage to going through a Disney Store vs. on-line?

This one sold tickets, too. But, I didn't really inquire much since I already have my tickets. I am guessing but I doubt you could get a package deal at the store. When we get back up there (in a few weeks) I will stop & find out.

We have an awesome Disney Store in St. Augustine and I love it. I know how it feels to walk out with those good deals! Congrats!

We used to have a great Disney Store here - it was closed a few eeks ago. I loved the many deals we found there. I always wondered how they made any money considering the massive amounts of stuff on the sales areas.

I did go and stock up when they had their closing-shop sale. Got shirts for $3, Christmas presents for my 3 nieces and for the kids in my DDs class - they had so many $1 toys it was crazy! I will sure miss that store :(

Our local outlet mall has a Disney Store too!!! It's actually a bigger store than the Disney Store in the "regular" mall. I don't think there is any difference in pricing on the tickets---just convenience.

Just FYI---I was told several years ago that the two types of stores are "separate" entities. At that time, we could not return something to one store that was purchased at the other, as the one in the Outlet Mall is an outlet store. Perhaps they have changed that now, but its something to keep in mind. :)

I miss those days of the huge Disney Stores that carried everything. Now ours seems to have the same things that you can find in Toys R Us.
