You'll probably find out when you get a box in your hands.

I saw the commercial and was skeptical, but knowing they worked well for you DT is good enough.

I don't know how many are in a box, the label was tossed out. I also don't remember what they cost, I didn't even pay attention.

I don't know that I would use these at home but for travel they have been great. I always pack Tide and Downy or dryer sheets so this is much easier. We've had 7 people in a 2 bedroom doing beach laundry for a week and they have worked well. Nate had a stain on a white shirt that seemed to come out but they didn't get out a BBQ sauce stain on another shirt but that would be tough even at home.

I still like my Tide and Downy better but I think it's because I'm used to them but these are wonderful for vacation.

Definitely getting these for our August trip. I typically don't do laundry on vacation, I always pack way more than we need, but I'm trying to go lighter this trip.

Re: Laundry tip--Purex 3 in 1 sheets

I love to do laundry on vacation, if it's easily accessible. Less to do when you get home. But I will never again go and sit in a laundry room at a hotel and waste vacation time doing it. We only do it when we stay in a villa with our own laundry facilities. We can put it in at night and go to sleep, or put it in before leaving for the parks in the morning.

This sounds like the perfect solution for laundry on vacation: less products to pack. (did I mention DH once got his luggage searched because the solid detergent cubes looked like an explosive in the X-ray machine??)

I'm also hoping to pack a little lighter in Aug. I'm hoping to do one bag less than usual in order to avoid some of those baggage fees. I finally saw the TV commercial for these tonight. I'm definitely going to give them a try!

Re: Laundry tip--Purex 3 in 1 sheets

These are not a great bargain to use at home. Totally a suitcase item. I want to say there are about 20 sheets for about $6.

Re: Laundry tip--Purex 3 in 1 sheets

I am so excited to get these for our October trip! We did soooo much laundry on our last trip in December that I actually had to go and purchase more detergent! That 3rd kid, adds a lot! Thanks for the tip!

Re: Laundry tip--Purex 3 in 1 sheets

I just saw these at Publix about 30 minutes ago. They had 20 sheets for $6.99. They had tropical scent and a spring scent. I did not see any fragrance-free.

I wouldnt use these at home but if I were doing laundry on vacation...definitely...IF I could find fragrance-free that is. My son and I have allergies and the scents would drive us nuts.

Re: Laundry tip--Purex 3 in 1 sheets

I agree~ I will DEFINITELY be trying these for our week at the beach, but since our DW trip this year is only 5 days, I don't plan on doing a wash at Pop. Sounds perfect for the beach though! Thanks for the tip!

I saw the commercial for these the other day. What a great idea! Why can't I ever come up with one of these incredible ideas so I can make lots of money and go to WDW all the time??

Re: Laundry tip--Purex 3 in 1 sheets

I purchased the purex clear and fresh (or fresh and clean) to see how they might work if I brought them on vacation. They do have a little scent but not bad. I am a free and clear laundry detergent user and was concerned that these would smell. I can pick up the smallest scent and it drives me crazy.
I just tried them and they did smell coming out of the washer. I decided to not put the sheet in the dryer with the clothes and the scent really left the clothes after drying. I am excited as I can tolerate what little smell was left while on vacation. I had purchasing all the laundry products when we arrive so these will be great and easy to pack!

Re: Laundry tip--Purex 3 in 1 sheets

I'd love not to do laundry but teenage boys and >week of laundry, not a pretty sight (or smell). I tried not to do it last trip, I wanted to avoid bringing the soap, little bags of white powder??? I just couldn't stand it any longer, and it cost me a fortune for detergents on site.

We just can't get the convenience packaging you can find in the States, but hopefully Walmart in Canada will stock these, otherwise we'll be scheduling a quick shopping trip when we arrive.

Thanks for the tip!
