Laundry tip--Purex 3 in 1 sheets - Page 3

Though I hate perfume and lotions and all that, I like my laundry to have a very intense Downy smell after they come out of the dryer. I will give these a try and see if it's a nice strong smell.

True, not a bargain, but to do laundry in a hotel (not DVC), it costs a lot between washing, drying, soap & fabric softener. I think I'm going to get some for our upcoming trip.

I saw these on TV and thought that they would be good for trips, but did not like the price to much. I used a coupon and got them for $4, and I bought the refill instead because it had 4 more sheets than the starter kit. I look forward to trying them out (that means I'm on vacation)!

The price is not great, but I would pay it in a heartbeat if it means easier laundry while on vacation!

I didn't think the price was too bad when you add the cost of detergent and fabric softner together. For about $6.00 you can do 24 loads of wash. ( if the machines are super sized you need 2 of them though. But Disney just has regular machines. We have well water at home so I always have to use a laundry service so this is so much easier to carry around for me!

Agree, it's all about convenience and speed when you need to do "chores" at WDW!

Yeah we have never done laundry before while at WDW, but I know it will be a necessity next time we go with 2 DDs in tow!

Yup, we bought some too. I want to try them at home first. DH's skin is a little sensitve and I don't want to find out at disney that he can't take the soap.

On another board I saw someone say "I bought 6 packs, before they stop making them". I think a number of people think they are a bit pricy (sp), but for trips they are great.

That's a good point - Purex should think about marketing them as a convenient thing for travel!! I think that's going to be their biggest market. Otherwise I'm sure a lot of people are grumbling about the cost.

I agree, these seem more of a travel item than an every day thing. I think I'll pick up a box or two just in case they aren't around long. Things like this come and go depending on sales.

This is exactly what I'm going to do. I use All Free and Clear and Bounce free at home. I haven't looked at PUREX yet, but was hoping that they offer something similar.
