I bought the glow in the dark sticks and braclets also at the dollar store. Not sure if they sell them at WDW but it sure was cheaper to buy a pack of six braclets for a dollar. They come with connectors so you can connect them to make necklaces.

I brought along glow bracelets and necklaces for my DS on our trip and he loved them. I found them in blue, pink and green at a party store. He loved them!! He still had to have the 3 color in one glow necklace but he had fun with all the bracelets.

I will add that when my DH was going through the bag check the CM did question him about them. They were in the original packages and all the CM saw were all the warnings printes on the packages. When my DH told him what they were he was fine with them.

I got some glow sticks from "Market Days" they have a little hole to put a piece of string thru, so that the kids can wear it around their necks. (just a plug for market days);)
anywho, I thought they would be great for our e-ride night if there are any???!!!!:cry: (I can always hope can't I?)

DisneyTeacher, I LOVE your reports on your trip!!:) I am so pumped on going! I have a countdown on the calender at home too, there are countdowns everywhere!!:p

They were selling them from a cart before SpectroMagic along with all kinds of other glow things (mugs, swords/sticks, light chasers/spinners). I think the tricolor necklaces were $3.00 each. They were different from what we brought because they were frozen and not the kind you break to light up.

Frozen huh? Did it work okay? Do they have some sort of Disney theme to them? Are those things they sell at the carts pretty expensive?

The glow necklaces seemed to glow just fine for one night. No Disney theme to them. Our other ones that I brought with us glowed longer (for days under my DS bed!!) but the tri color one was fun for the night.

Some of the things in the cart had a Disney theme, others didn't. There was a Nemo mug of Coke/Sprite that had a flashing light in the bottom that could be turned on and off that was $10 I think (we didn't get it but I over heard the CM) and spinners for $10 to $12 I think. Light swords for about $6.00, no theme. We got a Buzz spinner even though I had one in his surprise bag and he had 3 others at home. He lost the spinner in a huge rain and we bought him another the following night, you would think I could remember the price.

I think expensive is hard to judge so I can't help you there. We went with a certain amount of money in mind that we would spend that could be more or less than you have budgeted. My DS had 200 Disney Dollars to spend so he could get just about any toy he wanted every day.

We have $300 Disney Dollars for the kids to spend on anything they want. Plus, I have $50 Disney Dream Dollars to add to that. We prefer not to judge the price of things on vacation. Of course, it is going to be more than you usually pay at home. We save and work hard all year for our trips, so we can live it up.....(within reason)!:D

I agree, we really lived it up last month on our trip. We (I should say I) spent so much money. We had a blast and spent w/o worrying about it. I am still not sure how much we spent over all. All that mattered to me was that we had a good time.

Starting next month I am setting aside money every month for our trip in 2 years. I figure $200 to $300 dollars a month for 2 years should pay for another blow out trip at the WL. We went for 8 days this summer but want to go for at least 10 days next time.

my kids have a joint bank that they save up for our trips and they have about $300 saved together plus $10 Disney dollars each so they will be able to go nuts PLUS all of the things in the bags we are giving them!!!! I just got my stuff I ordered from gifts of a lifetime and I went nuts. My husband liked them but he just rolled his eyes at me and shook his head!!! I really think he likes it almost as much as me but won't admit it!!:o :) This is sooo much fun I can't wait to let my kids in on it!!!:p :)

You know actually I really did not think so. I ordered things off their website and had other questions, so she gave me her phone #. I called her and she held on to the original order and combined it and it was a straight UPS rate!!! She was overly helpful and very nice!!! I highly reccommend them!!!:)

to be honest I do alot on ebay and most of those things have alot higher shipping rate than Gifts of a lifetime!!! Hope that helps!!!!:)

oops I just realized that you asked what I got from them!!! I bought Guest of honor badges, Disney cookies and lightchasers!!
the shipping was about $7 from Orlando to Denver!!!

Make sure you wear your Guest of Honor badges ALL THE TIME!! Last year, the first thing I did was go to MGM and buy them for everyone in our party (and they will make special ones for the differently spelled names). We wore them the entire 8 days. I couldn't believe how many times the CM's would call one of by our name. When we entering the Mexican Pavalion at Epcot, one CM came to me, greeted me by name and said he hoped I enjoyed my visit to Mexico. It was great! Wendy came up to my mom during the Share a Dream Come True parade and spoke to her by name.

That is great!!! But I did not buy them for my husband and I. I guess I should have Maybe we will pick them up at MGM when we get there!!!:) :)
