New Unofficial Guide Out!!

I just got home from Barnes and Noble book store and the new Unofficial Guide is out! Boy is it thick! There was also another new updated guide but I forgot which one. It wasn't Birnbaums, though.

I'd be more than happy to mail you my 2003 Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World if you want! :) It's officially outdated now that the new one came out, but it'll still be 95% accurate, and a few dollars' expense to mail it is way better than buying a whole book!! I don't need it anymore. Really, honestly, if you want me to, just PM me. Otherwise it's probably going in the recycling bin.

I just bought the 2003 about two months ago! Oh well, I love The Unofficial Guide so I guess I will be another. I have one from the 80's and it is not even half the size of the 2003!

TourguideMike is an online guide that I heard about through mousesavers. http://www.mousesavers.com/timeismoney.html#tgm
I previewed it when it was first introduced but never subscribed.

With moving and school starting I haven't had time to go and buy the new edition. Can anyone tell me if there is anything significantly different from the '03 edition?

Just returned from buying my 2004 book! The clerk told me I was the 3 one to buy it today! I told him I buy it every year. He said, "Why it is the same every year" I told him that it had changed from about 200 pages to about 4 inches thick in 20 years and there was always something new! He looked at me as if I was nuts. He's right, nuts for DW! Some people just don't understand. lol :D ;)

You're right, some people just don't understand WDW nuts like us :) I've been buying the Unofficial Guide for years now and I love reading it! I've been meaning to take a look at a Passporter, is it worthwhile? I understand it is like a daytimer/planner type thing.

The Passporter is WONDERFUL! You should definitely check it out! It has GREAT information about EVERYTHING there is to see and do at WDW. It tells you which rooms/buildings are the best to request, gives prices of hotel rooms, park tickets, restaurants, etc. Only in the BACK of the book are POCKETS which you could store receipts, tickets, itineraries, and also use it to journal your stay at WDW! It is AMAZING, TRY IT!

I love Birnbaums too...
