Take the water offered in coach!!!

When I fly Delta, they offer as part of the beverage service 8 ounce bottles of water. I always ask for one along with my soda of choice, because you can refill the bottles very easily.

The last time I flew (Delta), they were serving water out of huge water bottles. I didn't see any individuals bottles. Do you have to ask for them?

I flew Delta in September,October and November and all flights offered Dasani water in the 8 oz. bottles. I have about 6 in my refrigerator. I will use them when I go on cruises, becausewhat the cruise lines charge for a bottle of water is atrocious. Also,my mother will use the bottles to bring vodka in to avoid the high prices for a single drink.

DisneyDana - we had large bottles poured when they ran out of the small ones on one flight (we've been on almost a dozen of them too, like mickaholic.) We always ask for a full bottle, so we can tote it around with us. DH still asks for the juice though, says he can pinch mine if he needs too!! LOL!

That's a great tip, M!

What is it with the airlines that when they give you soda-they divide one can between 3 to 4 different people. You pay good price for your ticket can't you have a whole can--they don't cost that much!!!!

Ask for your soda to have no ice. You actually get some soda in your glass that way! When they fill it with ice first they sure don't leave much room for the actual beverage.

You can also ask for the whole can. I prefer my soda warm and they always look at me puzzled. It's also easier on my DD to drink from a can on the plane.

I get frustrated when they don't have juice for her. It's not often, but I don't like her drinking soda.

I have gotten a full can of soda when I have asked for it. I also always ask for a bottle of water in addition to soda.

I always end up flying US Airways and never have I seen them with the little 8oz waters...only the biggies that they pour into a mini glass that is a little bigger than a shot glass. The amount of soda you get on these flights is so little that I can actually drink the entire glass and ask for a refill before the flight attendant has moved on...:laugh :laugh on the last two flights I have been on, I just brought my own beverage or went without. It's only a 2 hour flight and it takes them to long to collect the empties. I am a bit of a neat freak and cannot stand looking at trash in front of me...I know how I sound, but it's the way I am. It drives my family crazy. They will still be eating their meal and I will be clearing the table and washing the dishes. It's a diesase I sware.

What's the disease called, I think I have it. My DBF goes nuts because I will throw trash away while he is still eating, sometimes I get overzealous and throw his food away....
But what can I say? I don't want to look at the trash either!

My wife is like that too. When I drink anything in a glass, if I only drink 1/2 of my drink and I put it down, it is gone, emptied and in the sink. Doesn't matter if I am finished drinking or not. If I put it down, I am done.

Mickaholic4077- Your Mother is a Genius. What a great idea. We are doing a week long cruise after our trip to WDW . And heard that the beverages are very high on board. They dont mind you bringing water on board?

No, I never asked for the whole bottle. Never thought to. If it wasn't offered to me I just assumed I couldn't. I can't imagine them saying no. You should just try to ask for it anyway.

My mother usually puts the "water" in her checked luggage wrapped around some clothes that she doesn't mind if they get wet and has never had a problem doing that. I have put 24 oz. bottles of Diet Pepsi in my checked AND carry-on luggage when going on a cruise and have never had a problem. I do that because I can't stand Coke products and don't drink them unless I have to and every cruise line I have been on has had exclusively Coke products.
